In the midst of silence

I join you, Life in your solitude

In a moment I drop my defence

Letting you in, another interlude

The mind has no chance to retract

Once the spell of embrace begins

Nothing there upon which to contract

The lines of light and dark thins

That mystic space of life unfolding

Grace is bestowed without trying

Nothing in need of moulding

Nothing for which I’m vying

Emptiness is not a state but a reality

one we seek to avoid, forget and deny

To surrender to truth is to be free

freedom is what you do not something you try.
